• What is one thing you love about yourself and one thing you want to improve?
• One thing I like about myself is that I am very driven and determined with whatever goals I have in my life.  I identify things that I wish to achieve academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I achieve it regardless of how difficult or time consuming it may be. I was able to excel in school and graduate at the top of my class at BYU, run several marathons, and have many life changing experiences all because of this characteristic. One thing which I want to improve is to be more honest with myself and more open with others. Although I often surround myself with people, I seldom open up completely to people I interact with. I have began to make an effort this year to not keep so much to myself and allow others to completely come into my life, but it is still something that needs improvement!
• What are some of your favorite things to do when you have down time?
• I start every day out by going on a run, to the gym, or anything to get me up and moving. If I have extra time, I love finding new hiking trails or a new area to run around and explore by foot. Another favorite pastime of mine is going to Barnes and Noble—or any book store for that matter! I love looking at different books and finding something new to read and just hanging out at the book store or a local coffee shop and just reading. The beach is, by far, my favorite place to be and I would choose to go there any and every day if I could! Snorkeling, SCUBA diving, swimming, anything and everything involving the water.
• Kent and I would make a great team because...
• I think Kent and I would hit it off and be compatible together. The thing that stuck out most to me about Kent was his outgoing and adventurous personality as well as what he said about the importance of timing. I love to travel, try new things, be outdoors and I feel like Kent and I could have a great time together doing all of that. I can also tell that Kent is well grounded, down to earth, driven, and honest. He is someone that I could see myself being interested in and dating—I feel like we would be able to communicate and interact well with each other, have fun together, and encourage each other to achieve our goals and stay strong and active in the church. I am at the perfect time in my life to meet someone. I have just graduated and am taking the next step in my life deciding where to live, to go onto graduate school, what career to take, etc. Ironically, I am also living in-between Arizona and California at this time—which is an added plus if anything ever did escalate. Timing has never been in my favor with past relationships but I feel like this is my time for something to happen and I’m hoping I have the opportunity to meet Kent to see if it could all happen with him.
